What did he do for the country 25 years ago? He is an ex military man who used his position as a young officer to be a drug baron. He later imposed himself on Nigerians and then made corruption a national byelaw and pastime. He even said Nigeria’s problems have no solution, yet, why do you want to come back? Replenish the loot carrier? He had nothing to offer 25 years ago, he definitely has nothing to offer today. He is a yesterday man; he cannot take us in to tomorrow. Not only is he a yesterday’s man he is a failed yesterday’s man with d**l’s blood on his hands. We need people who can turn Nigeria in to an industrial power house, who can challenge the industrial might of the USA and china. Nigeria has the man power and potential to rise way above where we are and has been for so long. The only recycling going on in Nigeria is cycling of old idealess politicians. They have nothing positive to offer Nigeria but that is the only way they can make a living, by robbing public fund. All their business does not make money they only make money in government by stealing money meant for national development. That is why we have people from the1960’s, 70’s and 80’s still active in politics and questionable characters and outright criminals in government. Please take note, not all Nigerians are corrupt or without principles. Some are not interested in making money from oil or will ever want to steal public funds, they have come so far with hard work, and are grateful with what they have achieved in life and hope to still do better.
